Theater-AG pr\u00e4sentiert: \u201eHexenjagd“ von Arthur Miller<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Die Theater-AG des Evangelischen Seminars Blaubeuren l\u00e4dt herzlich zu den Auff\u00fchrungen ihres diesj\u00e4hrigen Theaterst\u00fccks ein: \u201eHexenjagd“ (The Crucible<\/em>) von Arthur Miller \u2013 einem der bedeutendsten Dramen des 20. Jahrhunderts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Das St\u00fcck spielt im Jahr 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts: Als mehrere junge M\u00e4dchen beginnen, Mitglieder ihrer Gemeinde der Hexerei zu bezichtigen, bricht eine Welle kollektiver Hysterie \u00fcber die Kleinstadt herein. Anschuldigungen gen\u00fcgen als Beweis, Schweigen gilt als Schuldeingest\u00e4ndnis \u2013 und wer widerspricht, macht sich verd\u00e4chtig. Miller zeigt mit beklemmender Pr\u00e4zision, wie Angst, Neid und Machtgier eine Gemeinschaft von innen zerst\u00f6ren k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Geschrieben als Allegorie auf die McCarthy-\u00c4ra und die antikommunistischen Verfolgungen im Amerika der 1950er Jahre, hat \u201eHexenjagd“ nichts von seiner Aktualit\u00e4t verloren \u2013 das St\u00fcck stellt Fragen, die uns heute genauso ber\u00fchren wie damals: Was ist Wahrheit? Wem geh\u00f6rt das Recht, zu urteilen? Und wie viel Zivilcourage braucht es, standhaft zu bleiben?<\/span><\/p>\n

Das Seminar Blaubeuren nimmt evangelische Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler ab Klasse 9 auf, auch ein „Quereinstieg“ in die h\u00f6heren Klassen ist m\u00f6glich.
